Bake Sale Flyer

Week 4 Optional Mini-Activity

I wanted to create a flyer for the music department’s bake sale for elementary students.  The artifact needs to be exciting and appeal to younger students.

I originally gave the tool what I wanted to say and asked to have it made into a visually appealing flyer.  I did have to back and include the age in my prompt. It is for elementary children’s bake sale.  When I got it, I then asked it to create a visually appealing flyer including music notes.  In my prompts I included the subject, purpose, audience, style, and text to include.

This was very easy to do and only took three different changes to get the final outcome. I could see being useful for things like flyers, posters, and I am sure so much more.

The message of the flyer is clear, fits the audience and correctly communicates the intended message.

I would keep the artifact.  I have already added my creative judgement by adding and creating the text for the flyer and choosing the school age.  Since I made it all up and provided the text, I would not need to verify the information on the flyer.  I would make it more accessible by adding accessibility to the prompts.
